FDR's grandson to McCain: Keep your hands off our Social Security

Thu Aug 14, 2008 at 03:42:10 PM PDT

Well, we know McLame thinks Social Security is a disgrace. He, like all Republicans, would love to gut this program.

Of course they're not interested in cutting back on anything else. Maybe a Halliburton contract or two?

Maybe even his own Social Security haul every month?

I think this is a fine ad. James Roosevelt, Jr. is very compelling. Barack's statement is strong as well.

Obama private prayer leaked

Sat Jul 26, 2008 at 10:58:03 AM PDT

It would be nice if Senator Obama could enjoy some privacy. The continued assualt on the Senator's religious beliefs is ridiculous.

I hope, by what was released, more people will finally realize how decent a human being this man is.

Professor Randy Pausch - R.I.P

Fri Jul 25, 2008 at 05:07:39 PM PDT

What a great human being. In this crazy world we live in, Professor Pausch was an inspiration to all.

I recommend that everyone listen to his last lecture. It's uplifting.

Bush's echo [McCain] agrees with him on Gitmo

Sun Jun 15, 2008 at 08:10:24 AM PDT

Who would have thunk it? McCain agreeing with his sugar daddy Bush again. This time siding with him on taking down the Constitution. McCain is joined at the Bush hip and loving every moment of it.

Welcome To John McCain’s Womens Clinic

Sat Jun 14, 2008 at 08:25:05 AM PDT

Welcome to the ice age. McBush's vision of America includes many little Scalia's steering the court. Yep, the same Scalia that believes the U.S. Constitution is worth snot. It's obvious McBush could give a rats ass about reproductive rights for women. The question is, why would any women vote for him?

Fellow kossack clammyc's excellent diary that takes on most of these issues:

clammyc's companion piece from earlier today

I recommend reading it! Thank you clammyc!

Dylan: Obama "redefining the nature of politics"

Sat Jun 07, 2008 at 08:37:05 AM PDT

'The Times They are a-Changin' and Bob Dylan is feeling it folks, just like millions of others are. There's something happening in America. I'm as hopeful as Bob is. I want and need America to be great again.

Barack Obama is the American that will lead us there. I believe.

McSame on Warrantless Wiretaps

Fri Jun 06, 2008 at 11:27:11 AM PDT

John McBush crapping on the U.S Constitution and emulating his hero once again.

If anything, tying McCain and Bush together is going to be easy pickin's for Obama.

In defense of kos

Thu Jun 05, 2008 at 03:26:03 PM PDT

Geezus. So McCain has yellow teeth. So kos posted he has yellow teeth. I don't give a rats ass. More importantly, he was highlighting the thievery of Obama's campaign slogan by the McCain campaign.

So much for hoping she wasn't a Republican

Tue Jun 03, 2008 at 07:47:19 PM PDT

As I listened to Hillary's "I" speech tonight, I was reminded how many times I mentioned she was a Republican. Some people laughed, others agreed and others scratched their heads.

Tonight's "I" speech and gracious less performance cemented any doubts I may have had.

Hillary had a chance to be gracious in defeat and mend fences, but she chose Penn/Rove style politics.

Bill Clinton: Seat half the delegates "under our rules"

Sat May 31, 2008 at 02:06:37 PM PDT

Bill says seat half, "under our rules". Hillary says seat all. Less filling! Taste great!

McAuliffe says Clinton's RFK Gaffe Obama's Fault

Mon May 26, 2008 at 07:48:35 AM PDT

Just was you thought the RFK assasination gaffe couldn't get any worse, Mr. Terry "This thing will be over on Feb. 5" McAuliffe says all this is Obama's fault. There is no possible way his candidate uttered that disgusting remark. If you look at the video closely, it obviously altered. Obama subliminal prowess is the culprit here.

10 Edwards pledged delegates to Obama

Tue May 20, 2008 at 04:24:42 PM PDT

NBC News is moving 10 more pledged delegates to Obama. The Edwards effect is paying dividends.

So much for Hillary's win in KY. With these delegates and Oregon, it's sayonara to the Clinton's.

"They promised and they didn't deliver"

Fri May 09, 2008 at 09:08:38 AM PDT

Bill Clinton blows a gasket, as the Clinton brand continues to plummet into obscurity.

It's interesting that an elderly woman could get Bill so riled up. Aren't these Hillary type voters?

Bill didn't tell everyone that she worked behind closed doors and locked everyone out of the process.

Clinton Congressional backer openly voicing her doubts

Thu May 08, 2008 at 06:25:12 AM PDT

First Feinstein and now Rep. Louise Slaughter. The writing is on the wall.

While one of Hillary's new strategies is the campaign must continue, because women must be heard, two influential women superdelegates are sounding the "let's get real" alarm.

Clinton Superdelegate Sen. Dianne Feinstein wavering

Wed May 07, 2008 at 02:17:23 PM PDT

Read an article on CNN and picked up the little nugget below. Seems to me the Senator is wavering.

Hillary won't be able to explain to Feinstein "the question comes whether she can get the delegates that she needs, and I'd like to know what the strategy is to do that."

Well, she could say she'll destroy the Democratic party to do it.

It's time the Senator from New York acts like a Democrat and does what best for the Democratic party.

Obama: Carville is well-known for spouting off his mouth

Tue May 06, 2008 at 07:05:29 AM PDT

Obama ripped Carville a new ... I absolutely love it!

Obama was spot on. They talk, but never do. The $133 million dollar elitist family and their pet cajun.

We needed (NAFTA) to win more than I needed to be right

Sun May 04, 2008 at 11:47:48 AM PDT

George Stephanopoulos may have been against NAFTA, but he sure did all he could to pass NAFTA.

In his book All Too Human: A Political Education, on page 227 he says:

Obama to Hoosiers: 'I will not let you down'

Sat May 03, 2008 at 08:07:30 AM PDT

Come on Hoosiers! This is your time. Obama will not let you down. He'll work everyday to make this a better country for all Americans. Vote Barack Obama and change the world!

I'm feeling great about Obama! I believe Indiana will reject the status quo and vote for the future.

Not much of a diary, but I'm feeling real giddy and positive today about Indiana.
