I didn't see an open thread for Obama's upcoming interview on 60 Minutes, so here goes! As often is the case the "O" team timed this just right. First, Obama makes predictions regarding the play-off basketball games on today. These very games run over, as they often do, and thus all these guys watching these games hear over and over; "60 Minutes airs after wards", "Obama talks about the economy", and so on. The large draw of the basket ball games will up the 60 Minutes audience, and just like the Leno appearance, Obama will be reaching many who don't watch Tweety, or even know who he is. Say what you will, this guy really wants to lead the people, all the people.
Feel free to use this as your open thread.
All the games have ended now, and they seem to be doing recaps. It was confusing as hell towards the end, as they wrenched back and forth from game to game. I have never watched basketball, so I don't know anything about the teams. How did Obama's picks fair?
Opps... shows on now!!
Update [2009-3-22 20:7:3 by PLS]:: Obama says "The financial system was out of balance." He talks about the growth in CEO's pay, other disparities.
